Inhance Technologies Doubles Manufacturing Capacity with Expansion
HOUSTON, February, 25, 2021 – Inhance Technologies, a leading international provider of polymer material science solutions offering the world more responsible and sustainable choices, is delighted to announce it is opening a new site in St. Louis, Missouri – a move which will double its manufacturing capacity.
The new St. Louis facility, which will replace the existing site in Q1 2021, will increase Inhance Technologies’ warehouse space by 250% and double the company’s manufacturing capabilities in the state. The investment benefits the local economy and represents a 15% increase in the local workforce for Inhance Technologies.
“The expansion in St. Louis is a great moment for the company and a sign of the organization’s ambition in sustainable solutions for plastics. We know consumers are favoring more recyclable plastics, especially in packaging, and the demand for our barrier packaging technology, Enkase™ has increased dramatically over the last few years. We’re thrilled to expand our capabilities in St. Louis to serve the Midwest. We look forward to the site opening in the coming weeks,” said Patricia van Ee, Inhance Technologies’ Chief Commercial Officer.
The new facility is scheduled to open in early spring, and will provide Enkase™, Inhance Technologies’ fully recyclable barrier technology for packaging, DuraBloc™, its next-generation barrier performance for fuel systems, as well as the full array of Surface Technologies for regional producers and end users of mission-critical plastic componentry.
“With a large expansion of warehouse space, a doubling of our manufacturing capacity, and new rapid response lead times, our expanded St. Louis operation is equipped to meet new levels of demand as product brands, retailers and consumers make a conscious choice to more sustainable plastics,” added Michael Koma, Inhance Technologies’ Chief Operating Officer.
“With this investment in St. Louis, we will be able to continue providing our customers with the high quality products they desire, within a much shorter timeframe.”
The opening of the St. Louis facility in Q1 follows the organization’s move to a new state-of-the-art headquarters in Houston in 2020. Specific transition details for the new facility will be conveyed to customers in the coming weeks.
